This 4 oz rectangle bar has a dragonfly molded on the front, either plain cream-colored soap, or I can paint it green with natural mica color, add a note in a "Note to Grower" at checkout, if you would like it painted. The herbal scent of Eucalyptus essential oil paired with the spicy fragrance of Peppermint essential oil is a classic, and one of my most popular soap scents. Made with my own hand-milked goat milk, local lard from a friend's sustainable small farm that I render myself, and a little coconut oil and of course lye - that's it! I hand-make all my soap in small batches, 6 to 36 bars at a time. If you have used a good handmade soap before, you know that it is a completely different creature than commercial soap, which can be so drying! When soap is made by hand, the chemical reaction of oils with a lye solution forms the substances soap and glycerin. A typical bar of handmade soap is roughly 1/3 glycerin! This is a humectant, meaning it pulls water from the air - when on your skin, it literally moisturizes your skin by attracting water to it. This handmade local lard & goat milk bar has crushed mint leaves in the soap, along with hand-rendered lard from pastured, non-GMO-fed pigs raised right here in either Altamont or Tracy City, rendered by me here at SFH. The herbal scent of Eucalyptus essential oil paired with the spicy fragrance of Peppermint essential oil is a classic, and one of my most popular soap scents. Made with my own hand-milked goat milk, local lard from a friend's sustainable small farm that I render myself, and a little coconut oil and of course lye - that's it! Goat milk is renowned for the luxurious qualities it gives soap, particularly gentle exfoliating and excellent moisturizing. I hand-milk my goats Sophia, Snowpea, and Elvira, and use the rich milk as well as olive and coconut oils, almond, castor, and avocado oils and shea butter to make this wonderful soap. I don't use Palm oil as many soapmakers do - while it itself is a useful oil, I can't condone the harmful cultivation practices used to produce it, and find I don't need it - this soap is wonderful without it!  It is so moisturizing and good for your skin, with extra vitamins and nutrients from the goat milk, as well as the luxurious oils I use. If you have used goat milk soap before, or any good handmade soap, you know that it is a completely different creature than commercial soap, which can be so drying! This is a mix of our own garlic powder, “onion” powder (Elephant garlic powder, very sweet and mild), chili and Serrano pepper powders, basil, thyme, and oregano. Also includes purchased sea salt, smoked paprika, and black pepper. This spice mix is the classic Cajun seasoning, and the only difference between this and chili seasoning is that chili mix has cumin. Rather than blending both, I’m just offering this version and you can add cumin to taste for making chili. Also, this spice blend plus a touch of your preferred sweetener is a great mesquite-type BBQ spice. I used it recently on roasted chickpeas and it would also be fantastic on chicken, lamb, beef or most any meat, potato or sweet potato wedges, and any number of other dishes. Packaged as 1 oz in a snack-size ziploc bag.

Fresh, made-to-order suet cakes smell so delicious, my husband can just barely stop himself from sampling them! They are equally irresistible as they are nutritious. Full of fat, they provide a large source of energy for our backyard birds during the cold months. Each cake is 11oz and comes in a closable deli container that is stackable and freezable. Made without preservatives, fresh suet is hands-down my backyard birds favorite treat. They don't even wait for me to walk away when I put them out before they swoop in for a nibble. This scrub is ideal for kitchen and bathroom sinks, counters, tubs, etc. It is simply Solace Farm soap, pumice powder, bentonite clay, washing soda, and essential oil or fragrance oil. I love this stuff! I had been using Mrs. Meyers surface scrub, and discovered this recipe - and it's at least as good! It takes stains and dark scratches right out of my cast-iron kitchen sink, and scrubs the hard water/iron stains out of my tub. Virtually nothing else short of nasty chemicals has done that! And it smells great the whole time it's cleaning :) This is packaged in fully compostable sturdy paperboard tubes with a shaker lid. Choose a scent from the list, and add a "Note to Grower" at checkout. If you don't select a scent, I will choose one for you based on availability. I sell elderberry syrup. It is a flu buster. It has the berries, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, orange peel, dried echinacea and honey. Elderberry syrup boost your immune system. It is a great anti-inflammatory, it helps relieve nasal congestion, it is anti-viral, it is high in vitamin A,B,C and potassium it balances blood sugar and is a natural support for arthritis. Take a tablespoon a day. It is not recommended for children under 1.

Applemint is homegrown in the garden. The stems are picked and laid in a basket to dry naturally. A cotton cloth is placed over the branches and allowed to dry for a week or two until there is no moisture left in the branches. The leaves are stripped by hand and then put into a sandwich bag packed full. A label is then placed on the outside of the bag. I do not use any kind of fertilizers or chemicals, it's pretty much organic just not certified. Happy Tea drinking, CNG. I also have coasters, and tea bags for sale and culinary herbs used for cooking.
