My name is Tammy Taylor & my canning business is Pepperworks. I make traditional, sugar free, jalapeno & habanero jams & jellies. I also make salsa, bread & butter jalapenos, relish & butters. I was born & raised in Coffee County. As a little girl, I had the privilege of sharing time & learning from my grandmother how to can on a 1930’s wood burning stove. As a young lady living in Amarillo, TX, I was introduced to jalapenos. I explored opportunities pairing the peppers with the traditional jams & jellies. My recipes are a tribute to a combination of family recipes & making up as I go. I locally source fruits & vegetables that are available. If you are wondering, the wood stove has accompanied me round trip & proudly sits in my canning kitchen.
