Frontier Family Farms

This grower uses synthetic fertilizers and/or pesticides.

We bought a 40-acre Mennonite farm and moved to Altamont in December 2007. From the previous owners, we inherited strawberries, asparagus, cherries, peaches, plums, Rosehips, apples, and a whole host of wild blackberries. We have 2 100 ft greenhouses that we are currently working on having set up for year-round growing with hydroponics.

Our newest items on the market are the homemade syrups for pancakes, ice creams, cheesecake, or whatever else you might think of to use them on. Try them once, and you’ll never go back to store-bought syrup… :-)

We also have 125 laying hens that are laying almost 12 dozen eggs a day on a regular basis.

We’re always looking for something new and different to add, so keep your eyes peeled for the Frontier Family Farm… :-)
