Frontier Family Farms lists some of the most delicious, healthy hydroponic vegetables you can find anywhere. If you haven’t had any, try some this week, then list your recipes in our Recipe Section so we will all get ideas of how to serve these vegetables.
Yes, you certainly can eat healthy meals in the winter! This is the place to find wonderful winter vegetables, delicious pork, beef, and chicken cuts, dried herbs, rich creamline milk, organic free-range eggs, raw local honey, jams and jellies.
White City Produce & Greenhouses offers an early discount of $25 on their 2016 CSA when ordered before Feb 29. This is like receiving one week of vegetables free.
It’s great to be able to get locally grown foods in the winter. But our farmers’ market is not just about eating healthy. Please take note of some of the other types of products on this market, all locally produced. We have a great selection of hand crafted farm products, candles, essential oils, bath & beauty products, baled hay, and house and garden plants.
Dogwood Valley Greenhouse has several nice houseplants on the market to brighten up your inside winter days and your summer patio. Just this week they have listed some of the very early blooming perennials.
Stop by Square Books soon and see our MLG Table, with lots of non-perishable farm products for sale. Pick up some honey, jam or jelly, hand lotion, herbal tea, or a basket of herb plants to enjoy this winter.
(L to R) Grass fed Angus and Kobe style ground beef from Paccman Ranch, Blackberry Jam from Sand Dragon Farm, Primroses Yellow and Pink from Dogwood Valley Greenhouse, Broccoli Florets from Frontier Family Farm.

Please encourage our local farmers by helping to spread the word about our wonderful market to everyone you know. We offer a great variety of local farm products, and our items will be in your hands in time to plan for the weekend. Although the Saturday markets are closed for the season, wonderful local products are available for ordering from the comfort of your own computer.
