Andra from Sow’s Ear Piggery writes:
Sow’s Ear Piggery just picked up a new pork order from the butcher. This pork was finished on acorns, and the samples we’ve tried have a rich flavor and light marbling in the cuts. Restocking this week: ground pork, breakfast sausage, and chops. More to come soon, including pork roasts for Christmas and New Years.
(L to R) Breakfast sausage, Bratwurst, and Kielbasa.
Sharmyn from CS3 Farms writes:
We want to thank everyone for your support through this year. We continue to learn new things about living up in a ridge and how to grow the things we can. We added a Relaxing Herbal Tea blend in a nice tin that is perfect for a last minute gift for yourself or someone you love who needs to slow down and enjoy the moment.
May the peace and Joy of Christmas guide you into a beautiful time with those you love and sweet memories of those you miss.
God bless you all and see you in the New Year.

Sharmyn from CS3 Farms writes:
This week I have a limited number of the All in One Honeys. They are great for the medicine cabinet. Spicy sweet kick the bug out goodness. They would be great in a wellness care package with the cold care tea. Long shelf life and if you keep it in the fridge the cold feels extra soothing on a sore throat.
They are available in 1.5 oz and 4 oz sizes.
I also have some fresh made elderberry syrup. Not a fan of syrup I also have an elderberry extract. Either are great for helping to prevent catching those viruses or limiting the duration of them.
I have also added a new class to the listings.
Dogwood Creek Farm has added several cuts of chicken, duck, lamb, and turkey to the market.
(Row 1) Whole heritage rooster, whole duck, ground goat.
(Row 2) Lamb loin chops, whole Thanksgiving turkey, and wings.

We have shifted to making herbal supplements that come in dropper forms. The Lion’s mane is known for its help with brain cognition. The Reishi is known for helping with thyroid issues. They are both also known for helping with the immune system.
This week I have more elderberry syrup. I have plenty of elderberry/spilanthes tinctures on hand for those who do not prefer the syrup for their fight against viruses through the winter months.
Herbal honeys that I am straining out this week are the Tulsi honey and a lavender-chamomile honey.
Finally we have a large sweet basil and a tall Thai basil that will be made into pesto to beat the frost. We will have several of those on the market. They are great to set out a few hours before ready to enjoy them.
Merriwether Bakes has a working kitchen once again, and has some of her baked goods on the market this week..
McIllwain Market also has her protein balls and yogurt back for us this week.
