Extremely Hot! This pepper was cultivated in Northeast India and grown specifically for their heat and average between 1,000,000-2,500,000 on the Scoville scale. The Scoville scale measures the amount of capsaicin in a food. Capsaicin is the chemical compound that gives the burning sensation in peppers. For reference, they are about 10 times hotter than a jalapeno. Ghost peppers have many uses and are often used in Mexican cuisine to spice up dishes. Also used in Asian cuisines.

The 7 Pot Douglah, also known as the 7 Pod Douglah or Chocolate 7 Pod, is one of the rarest and hottest of the 7 pod strains. Currently the 3rd hottest pepper in the world behind #1 The Carolina Reaper and #2 Trinidad Moruga Scorpion. The Douglah is characterized by a dark brown/deep purple skin with many “pimples” over the surface. The pepper starts out green and matures to the dark color uniuqe to the Douglah. When you slice a fresh Douglah open, you will immediately see pools of liquid capsaicin oils that give this chili so much heat. The placenta is where most of the capsaicin oils are stored. Has excellent flavor fresh or as a powder.

The peppers are about 2.5-3.5 inches long and 1 inch wide, about the size of your thumb. These rolls were my favorite when I visited my grandmother on her farm. They look like corn muffins, but make no mistake, they are yeast rolls. On the outside they are firm and have a slight crunch. Meet my friend, Coax Me Gently. She is very gentle with her activated charcoal but she will also soothe the pain away that you are causing me. She will also make sure I'm safe from any other invaders during your visit?" Dosage: Cover the intruder to gently coax its departure from me. Since I can stain, cover me loosely with a bandage of choice. Area can be washed as normal when the time comes, just reapply if the intruder is still visiting.
