Granola - Meringue Crunch Blueberry Ginger 1/2 lbGrower: Solace Farm
Price: $4.00 ( 1/2 lb )Available (Exact): 2
If you love crunchy, crispy granola then this is for you! I adapted a recipe for cookies that had quickly become a household favorite. This makes a super-crispy cereal, with no added fat, and I've cut the sugar to less than 1/3 of most granola, just enough to taste great – and with the egg whites, it actually has added protein! Win-win-win! This is definitely my go-to breakfast with some homemade yogurt and raw honey drizzled on top (right behind my all-time favorite of a fried duck egg with a drizzle of toasted sesame oil, seaweed powder, and a sprinkle of sea salt, of course!)
Ingredients are simply: Pecans & walnuts, sunflower seeds, coconut flakes, oats, dried blueberries & candied ginger, sugar, egg whites, sea salt.

Hanging Basket - BrowalliaGrower: Dogwood Valley Greenhouse
Price: $26.00 ( 10" hanging basket )Available (Exact): 1
If you are looking for a low-maintenance annual flower in a shady location and one that blooms prolifically, and for an extended period, consider browallia. Botanically, browallia (Browallia speciosa) is a tropical perennial but it’s mostly grown as a warm-weather annual. Boasting bright blue, purple, and white blooms, it's a moderately fast grower with a cushion-like growth habit. Browallia is especially pretty when cascading down a wall, and its deep green foliage nicely fills a flower bed or rock garden in the summertime. Its flowers attract hummingbirds and it's a popular plant for containers and hanging baskets. Please note that this plant can be toxic if pets ingest it.

Hanging Basket - Calibrachoa, Mixed ColorsGrower: Dogwood Valley Greenhouse
Price: $26.00 ( each 10" basket )Available (Estimated): 1
Like a tiny petunia on steroids, Calibrachoa (also called million bells) grows and flowers at an amazing rate. Often confused for a petunia, million bells makes a splash in containers or hanging baskets. Be sure to give it ample water and fertilizer, which it needs to fuel its astounding growth.
Calibrachoa like sun, but in the South, there can be too much of a good thing. On the South or West side of a building, a few hours of intense summer sun will be quite enough for these little guys. On my south-facing porch, where they received direct sun for only a short time, Calibrachoa were very happy last summer.

Hanging Basket - OxalisGrower: Dogwood Valley Greenhouse
Price: $26.00 ( 10" hanging basket )Available (Exact): 1
This unusual houseplant is striking in every way - from its purple leaves to its dainty white flowers. It's not fussy about care, but wants some sunshine - part sun on the summer patio, and either a south window or artificial light in winter. It doesn't need a lot of water, and will even make do if you forget it for a while. In extreme dry times, it will go dormant, with the bulbs quickly putting out new growth once it is watered again regularly.

Hanging Basket - Variegated Swedish IvyGrower: Dogwood Valley Greenhouse
Price: $26.00 ( 10" hanging basket )Available (Exact): 1
With its attractive, scalloped foliage that's green with white margins, Plectranthus coleoides 'Variegata' makes a worthy hanging basket, cascadinng fountain-like in part to full sun. Also may be used in patio containers, or as a component plant in combination planters. This native of northern Australia and the Pacific Islands is deer resistant, and may be pinched or trimmed as needed to maintain shape and size. The easy care of Swedish ivy houseplants make them great for even the most novice of gardeners. Swedish ivy does best in a light and loamy potting mix with some perlite mixed in to help with drainage. The plant will thrive in a location that receives bright, indirect light all year long. * room temperature between 60 and 75 * water once a week, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Do not let it sit in water. * feed once every two weeks during the spring and summer and once a month during the fall and winter. Use a complete liquid houseplant fertilizer and follow the directions. * pinch off vine tips after flowering to keep the plant from becoming too leggy. * repot every two or three years. Not hardy in Tennessee USDA zone 7B.

Herb Plant - Basil, CinnamonGrower: Dogwood Valley Greenhouse
Price: $8.00 ( Gallon pot )Available (Exact): 2
Also known as Mexican basil, cinnamon basil is native to the world’s tropical and subtropical climates. Cinnamon basil plants thrive when temperatures are in the 80's and 90's (27-32 C. or more.). This basil plant displays dark green leaves and cinnamon colored stems. Cinnamon basil plants contain cinnamite, a compound that gives the herb an intense, spicy aroma and cinnamon like flavor.
Cinnamon basil is sometimes used medicinally, and is said to be good for maladies such as constipation, headaches, cough, and diarrhea. It contains vitamins A and C, and provides a generous amount of vitamin K. The spicy herb is appreciated by chefs too, who use it as an attractive garnish or to flavor hot drinks or other dishes.
Cinnamon basil requires full sunlight and well-drained soil. Dig a generous amount of compost or well-rotted manure into the soil before planting. Allow plenty of space for Cinnamon basil, as the plant can reach heights and widths of up to 3 feet (1 m.).
Water cinnamon basil plants as needed to keep the soil lightly moist but never soggy. Cinnamon basil grown in containers should be watered whenever the top 1 inch (2.5 cm.) of potting mix feels dry. Don’t overwater, as basil is prone to rot in muddy soil conditions. A thin layer of mulch will help keep the soil moist and prevent evaporation.
Pinch the tips of Cinnamon basil as the plants grow to produce full, bushy growth. Remove the spiky blooms as soon as they appear. Snip leaves and stems any time during the growing season. The flavor is best when the plants are harvested before they flower.
