It's Time to Order from Manchester Locally Grown Farmers' Market

Manchester Locally Grown online farmers’ market is now open for ordering. How can you tell it’s really (finally) springtime in Tennessee? Just check out all the scrumptious vegetables on the farmers’ market! Then notice the strong healthy vegetable plants all ready to start growing in your garden! Some of our new offerings this week:

Frontier Family Farms has added two types of head lettuce for summer sandwiches and salads.

White City Produce & Greenhouses has lots of vegetable plants: several varieties each of tomatoes and peppers, as well as eggplant, cucumbers, and squash.

Dogwood Valley Greenhouse has several types of flowering or foliage hanging baskets and a large selection of herb plants.

Don’t forget our yummy spring eggs, herbal & handmade products, spring vegetables, creamline milk, popcorn & granola, desserts, & sunflower seeds. Please support your friends and neighbors who produce these quality items on their own farms. A gift certificate from Manchester Locally Grown market or from Dogwood Valley Greenhouse is also always welcomed.

We’ll see you for pickup of your order on Thursday between 3:00 and 4:30 at Square Books, 113 E Main, Manchester. We can also hold your order in the refrigerator for you till Friday morning, if that’s more convenient for you. Just call (931) 273-9708 if you prefer to utilize this free service. Square Books will be open on Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
