——————————————————————————————————————————————————
NEWS AND NOTES

Please remember pickup will be at our NEW LOCATION, at Manchester Farm Center, 251 Interstate Drive, Manchester. Look for us under the big tents to the left of the store. On Thursday, Weaver Farms, Frontier Family Farms, and Dogwood Valley Greenhouse will set up tables at market time (weather permitting). You will be able to see some of the goodies that you’ve been reading about on the market news! When you come to pick up your order, bring a friend and plan to hang out for a few minutes and chat with Ray & Elaine, Michael, and Linda.

Flying S Farms has added Gray Zucchini, ‘Rosa Bianca’ and ‘Black Beauty’ Heirloom Eggplants, and Frozen Tame Blackberries to our market.

Wayne Diller has added Chicken Feet to the market – “because your body needs lots of vitamins, trace minerals, collagen, and calcium.”

Dogwood Valley Greenhouse will have a couple of fall baskets and planters at market this week. Come see how nice they will look on your table this season!

Vegetables from White City Produce & Greenhouses will not be available this week.

Please note that we now offer Delivery for a small fee to three locations: within Tullahoma City Limits, within Manchester City Limits, and elsewhere in Coffee County. We will be glad to deliver your order to you, at home or a location of your choice, on Friday afternoons.

Remember that we also have delicious beef, pork and chicken cuts, organic free-range chicken and duck eggs, jams and jellies, live plants for your perennial border, porch, or patio. Please take note of our great selection of hand crafted farm products, candles, essential oils, and bath & beauty products. Stop by Square Books soon and see our market table, with lots of non-perishable farm products for sale. Pick up some jam or jelly, hand lotion or soap, herbal tea, or a candle to enjoy or to give as a gift.

Thanks so much for your support of Manchester Locally Grown Market, and your friends and neighbors who have grown and produced these items. Please encourage our local farmers by helping to spread the word about our wonderful market to everyone you know. We offer a great variety of local farm products, and our items will be in your hands in time to plan for the weekend. Wonderful local products are available for ordering from the comfort of your own computer.

More new farmers are considering joining our market, if they can expect enough sales to help pay their transportation costs. Please help us grow the market by sharing this e-mail with your friends and inviting them to give us a try. And if you haven’t ordered from Manchester Locally Grown for a while, please check out our wide variety of offerings this week. Also please let us know if we can improve our selection or scheduling in any way to better suit your needs.

Blessings,
Linda
