The farmers and market managers would really appreciate your efforts to help spread the word about our fantastic market. What a great local resource for fresh, local farm products. Please pick up a few business cards to hand out to your friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Advertising is very expensive, and we want to use our slim market funds in a responsible manner.

Farm News of the Week

Native Fare Farm in Pelham, TN joins our market this week. Megan writes:
Hello friends and neighbors! We are offering our garden overflow to you beginning this week from Native Fare Farms in Pelham, TN. My family and I are long time gardeners and homesteaders from the fruitful valley just below Monteagle Mountain. We can and process most of our own food for sustainability, health, and self sufficiency. We grow with no chemicals and utilize old and new sustainable methods to raise the best possible produce, dairy, and eggs for ourselves. Our twin sons are going off to college this fall and Riley (future dentist), is supplementing his income by picking these fresh fruits and veggies just for you nice folks! I’ve even taught him how to make a tasty blueberry crumble pie so he can use up the abundant crop of highbush blueberries ripening now! Please feel free to look around on our website for recipes and snatch up some tasty vegetables from the market before the summer heat takes them out!

Triple B Farms and Templar Shooting Sport/Crusader Coffee are all one and the same. We are a family run farm and a brand new local business. We want to thank everyone for their support and encouragement while we have been building Templar Shooting Sports, your local shooting range.

Fresh Roasted Coffee! Roasted just last week! Crusader Coffee roasted in Coffee County on Coffee Street! Crusader Coffee is roasted specifically for Templar Shooting Sports in Tullahoma on 1101 S. Jackson Street. We have three blends specially roasted for the quality, flavor, and freshness all coffee lovers want.

10% of all profit from Crusader Coffee goes directly to A Soldiers Child foundation, founded and located in Smyrna, TN. They are a local charity whose mission is to celebrate the life of children who have lost a parent while on active duty. Each child sponsored receives a birthday celebration worthy of the honor and sacrifice their family has made for our nation. When you purchase any blend of Crusader Coffee, not only are you getting locally roasted, fresh coffee, you’re supporting your local economy and a cause worthy of all Americans.

From Linda at Dogwood Valley Greenhouse:
Dogwood Valley Greenhouse has added a very few tomatoes to the market – Bradley, Celebrity, and Early Girl. All three are great in salads, sandwiches, and slicing. But we don’t have many of them.

Our special on thyme plants for your garden continues. Buy any three thyme plants, receive a fourth one of your choice free. Order the three plants that you want, and add a comment telling me which additional one you want for free.
