Middle Tennessee Locally Grown is your online Farmers’ Market for local produce, baked goods, plants, and handcrafted items. You can order between 8 a.m. Sunday and 10:00 p.m Tuesday. Pickup is at one of three specified times and locations on Thursday afternoons:

• On Thursday afternoons between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. under the big pavilion on Fort Street with signs that say “Coffee County Farmers Market.” It’s across the street from the Manchester City Schools administration building, 215 East Fort St, Manchester.

• Or on Thursday afternoons between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. outside “Nature’s Elite”, which has moved to
  105 West Decherd St, Tullahoma, TN.

• Or on Thurday afternoons between 5:30 and 6:00 pm outside Martin Chapel Fellowship, at 110 Market Street, McMinnville, TN. It’s very close to the big water tower and the farmers’ market pavilion.

We can also deliver your order to your home in Coffee County on Thursdays, for a small fee, if it’s more convenient for you. If you prefer to utilize this service, please order it same as other items, indicating location.

This hosta has a foliage height at maturity of 9 inches, a spread of 29 inches, and a scape height of 15 inches. With showy, wavy margins, the dark green leaves have creamy yellow margins in spring, maturing to creamy white margins in summer. A vigorous, fast-growing variety suitable for edging or landscapes. Sunlight requirements of different hostas vary widely, depending on foliage color. In general, the lighter the foliage, the brighter the sun. The deeper darker foliage retains it color best in moderate shade, while the variegated varieties need more sunlight to keep their white and gold stripes. Hostas are rugged and tolerate almost any soil. Drainage is most important, to prevent dormant season crown rot. When newly planted, keep the roots moist, not wet. Once established, hosta plants aren?t fussy. Fertilize each spring and again in summer. Granular fertilizers should never sit on the leaves. Deer find them tasty, and you might try planting daffodils around your hosta to keep them away from the emerging shoots. Slugs leave unsightly holes in the leaves, but a light scattering of sand around your plants will help keep them away.
